Coach Q Rock
Building Complete Players On & Off The Court

Basketball has been a part of my life since I was four years old. I didn't just grow up playing the game — I grew up learning it. From a young age, I was surrounded by trainers and mentors who taught me not only how to play basketball, but how to understand it, respect it, and work for it. I played high-level AAU on Adidas & Nike Circuits with Colorado Hawks, Chauncey Billups Elite, & Mac Irvin Fire — that's where I saw how competitive basketball really is.
That foundation shaped my philosophy as a coach: start young, treat every athlete the same, develop them properly, and build real confidence. I believe players should be exposed early to what the next level truly demands — the discipline, the pace, the pressure — so they can decide for themselves if this is something they really want.
My goal isn't just to make better players, but to prepare them mentally and physically for what's ahead. I focus on skill development, basketball IQ, mindset — and character. Because talent alone isn't enough.
At 25 years old, I'm just beginning this journey as a coach, but I have a lot of knowledge to give. Over this past year especially, my faith has become a bigger part of who I am and how I lead. Basketball gave me discipline, but faith gave me direction. Today, I coach to give athletes the knowledge, structure, and confidence I wish every young player had early on.

Training Philosophy
How I develop complete players
Purpose-Driven Training
Every session has intention. We focus on skill development, basketball IQ, and preparing athletes for the demands of the next level — mentally and physically.
Character & Mindset
Building real confidence through discipline, respect for the game, and mental toughness. Faith and basketball both require dedication and trust in the process.
Long-Term Growth
Development takes time. I expose young athletes early to what college basketball demands, helping them decide if this is what they truly want and preparing them for that journey.
